Our HUGS (Financial Assistance) Program supports expenses associated with a patient’s breast cancer treatment journey.
Eligibility criteria includes:
- Receiving breast cancer treatment (i.e. surgery, chemotherapy, radiation). Chemotherapy may include antibody-drug conjugates (ADC), Her-2 targeted therapy, or immunotherapy. Patients with metastatic breast cancer (MBC) are eligible and considered for their challenging situation.
- Living or receiving care in Oregon or in Clark, Cowlitz, Klickitat, Pacific, Skamania, or Wahkiakum counties of Southwest Washington.
- Experiencing financial hardship during treatment.
This program does not have a mileage requirement. To serve as many people as possible, each patient will only be funded once by the HUGS Program annually.
This form must be completed by a care provider (Nurse Navigator, Social Worker, or another member of the care team), NOT the patient. If your clinic or hospital is not currently connected with Breast Friends, please contact us at mail@breastfriends.org to learn more about the HUGS Program.
