What services do you offer?

Breast Friends offers a wide range of services to support people diagnosed with breast cancer, including:

  • One-on-One Mentorship: Personalized peer support from trained mentors who have experienced breast cancer.
  • Support Groups: Opportunities to connect with others through in-person and virtual meetings.
  • Educational Programs: Workshops, webinars, and resources focused on breast health, self-advocacy, and wellness.
  • Community and Wellness Activities: Events that promote community connection, emotional healing, and physical wellness.


Latine/Latinx Outreach Program
: Culturally tailored support for Latine/Latinx community, including group meetings and community resources.

All support services provided by Breast Friends are free of charge. We are a nonprofit organization funded by donations, grants, and sponsorships.

We offer both in-person and online/virtual options to ensure accessibility and convenience. Please contact us for current schedules and locations.

To be matched with a mentor, contact our Patient Programs team. We’ll pair you with a trained mentor who has personal experience with breast cancer and understands the emotional and physical challenges you are facing.

Our in-person activities are primarily based in Oregon, with expanding efforts in Salem, Bend, and the Tri-Cities area. Check our website or contact us for specific event locations.

We do not provide direct financial aid but can connect you with resources and organizations that specialize in financial assistance for individuals going through cancer treatment. We do have a small financial assistance program that can be applied but you will need to contact your medical provider or social worker to apply.

Breast Friends does not offer transportation services directly. However, we can help you explore local and national resources that provide transportation support for medical appointments and treatments.

There are many ways to get involved:

  • Volunteer: Help with events, office support, or as a peer mentor.
  • Donate: Support our mission with a financial contribution or in-kind donations.
  • Sponsor: Partner with us to support programs and fundraising events.
