Join us on Thursday, September 10th, from Noon-1pm, via Zoom.
Christine Carpenter was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 45 despite having no family history or known risk factors. Determined to turn her fear and anger into action, she joined the National Breast Cancer Coalition (NBCC) and became a dedicated advocate working to end breast cancer through education, advocacy, and public policy. After recently relocating to Oregon, Christine now serves as NBCC’s volunteer Field Coordinator and Team Leader.
For this Lunch and Learn, you will:
– Hear about National Breast Cancer Coalition’s (NBCC) leadership in breast cancer-related public policy.
– Learn about leading federal advocacy opportunities.
– Identify opportunities to take immediate action.
– Hone personal stories for effective advocacy at any level.
– Share with and learn from other advocates.
