Breast Friends Cancer Support Network – 2/16/22

Guest Christina Ursin –  Flat is Enough! Breast Are Overrated.

Christina will join Michelle to tell her cancer story and why she ultimately chose to have a flat closure post double mastectomy.  She then struggled with the emotions and anger around her new body image, but found the way forward with acceptance and self-love. She is currently working on prototypes for a clothing line for women who have chosen to go flat, unilateral or even suffering from lymphedema or to wear during chemo. Everyone deserves to feel beautiful with flattering clothes and styles.  This is Christina’s passion, so be on the lookout for the “BAO Clothing Line” – Breast Are Overrated!

Hosted by our Programs Assistant Michelle Beck, Breast Friends Cancer Support Network is a live show Wednesdays at 9am Pacific Time. While interviewing a variety of guest speakers, including doctors, nutritionists, sex therapists, counselors, comedians and nurses to name a few; Michelle brings their unique perspectives with fresh information every week.
