August 29, 2009: Atlanta Health and Wellness EXPO Presented by It's The Journey, Inc.
The 2009 Atlanta Health and Wellness EXPO held at Lenox Square Mall was preceded by a 10-mile training walk. Breast Friends was among the worthy vendors of It's the Journey grantees and breast cancer organizations. Here are a couple pictures of the event and our wonderful volunteers!

September 21, 2008: Atlanta 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer
Breast Friends recently took part in the Atlanta 2-Day Walk. Our staff and a few volunteers came out to show support to the walkers and this great organization! We were near the last stop, at about mile 28, passing out pom poms for the walkers to wave when they made it to the end. The participants looked quite worn out but in great spirits, and were rooted on by teammates, family and friends as they crossed the finish line. Very encouraging seeing everyone out for such a worthy event! A recipient in the breast cancer community, and Breast Friends alike, were also presented with the Lyn Wasserman award, named in honor of our founder.

September 20, 2008: Gold Party
The “gold party,” that was hosted by one of our volunteers, was a big success! Over $800 was raised for Breast Friends! Thank you to everyone who came to give of their gold and give to Breast Friends. Click below to see highlights from the day...
