Breast Friends is proud to announce a new collaboration with Breast Cancer Network of Strength®. The One-to-One telephone support hotline has expanded to provide enhanced individual emotional support for those touched by breast cancer in Atlanta and beyond.
Through this joint effort, Breast Friends now offers access to Network of Strength’s YourShoesTM 24/7 Breast Cancer Support Center, the nation’s only 24/7 support center answered entirely by breast cancer survivors who are trained and certified.
• Peer counselors who are experienced in handling all types of questions related to breast cancer and breast health. They can talk with you about any feelings and concerns.
• Match program for patients who would like to speak with a survivor who had a similar diagnosis or life experiences.
• Interpreters in more than 150 languages.
• Partner’s match program pairs people with others who have supported a loved one through breast cancer.
• Support and information via e-mail from peer counselors through www.networkofstrength.org.
