Breast Friends offers an array of support services to meet "individual needs." We have created these services to ease the pressures and inconveniences associated with breast cancer. Our hope is that anyone affected with a diagnosis of breast cancer will have the support necessary to get through each treatment and every recovery period. WHO NEEDS BREAST FRIENDS?
Perhaps you are:
• A wife and mother who must continue to take care of a family
• A career woman working while receiving treatment
• A single woman, living alone, with no way to get to treatment
• A husband who could benefit from talking with another "survivor" husband
• An elderly, disabled or homebound woman who requires special assistance
• A family member or friend who needs encouragement or advice on how to help your friend or loved one
• A coworker who wants to help but is unsure of how to approach her colleague about breast cancer
• Someone who needs to talk at an odd hour of the day or night
• An organization who would like to have support brought into the workplace
