We have all, almost to a person, verbalized how much our lives have changed as a result of having and beating cancer. We have realized what is important about our lives and have developed a deep abiding respect for how "short" life is. We have learned what battles to fight, what events are important, what others are trivial. We have learned to expend our energies in new and more positive directions. Most importantly, we have learned to use our time wisely, and for the betterment of others."
